The Kentucky World Trade Center (KWTC) proudly announces Suresh Kumar, the Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Director General of the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service as the keynote speaker at World Trade Day 2010.

Mr. Kumar has served as a special advisor to the Clinton Foundation, led Johnson and Johnson’s Worldwide Consumer Division and was vice president of consumer products for Latin America & Asia at Warner Lambert/Pfizer. Mr. Kumar was also an anchor on national television in India. Recognized as a leader in global trade consulting, Kumar’s insights will educate Kentucky businesses on how to forge a proven pathway to global prosperity with international trade. Increasing market globalization and the current economic environment make a compelling cause for exploration into the export of goods and services.

The foreign dignitaries from over 30 countries will attend the KWTC’s World Trade Success Awards Luncheon.  The World Trade Success awards luncheon is the focal point of the KWTC’s annual World Trade Day conference, a celebration of Kentucky’s competitiveness in global markets. The World Trade Success Awards Luncheon recognizes local companies for outstanding success in international trade and attracts the largest gathering of international trade professionals from the state and surrounding region.
