~ Import / Export Counseling
KWTC trade specialists provide counseling in many areas, including: export/import basics, export/import compliance, international marketing strategy, off-shore sourcing issues, sales contracts & Incoterms, intellectual property protection, freight issues, payment issues, and trade financing.

 
~ Free Trade Research Hours
Corporate-level members receive a total of 10 hours of free basic trade research per year.  Higher membership levels receive additional hours (see membership levels).  Basic research exceeding these free hours is available at $60 per hour. Trade Specialists provide research covering a broad range of topics, including:

Using correspondence and targeted questionnaires, the KWTC will identify up to six prospective distributors who have expressed an interest in representing your product, OR up to six prospective suppliers who have stated their ability to supply your product to specification.

Fee Per Country: $650

 
~ Trade Link Service
KWTC Trade Specialists, with assistance from foreign World Trade Center staff, identify, pre-qualify and schedule meetings with potential business partners in preparation for an overseas business trip. Fees are based on foreign market charges and the number of meetings arranged.

~ Sourcing Assistance Program
This unique 4-stage program combines several KWTC research services into one focused program to help you locate, qualify and meet with potential overseas suppliers of the products and components your company needs.

Stage I includes counseling on importation, research on best overseas markets, product-specific import regulations, a list of potential suppliers, and relevant trade shows in each targeted market.

Stage II includes contacting & qualifying each of the suppliers found in Stage I to determine their ability to supply the products you require, and to obtain quotations. (Trade Lead Qualification)

Stage III includes a break down and analysis of your importation costs, and referrals to relevant international service providers.

In Stage IV, the KWTC, with help from foreign World Trade Centers, organizes a schedule of meetings for you with the suppliers you have selected.  (Trade Link Service)

Fees:
Stage I:             Remainder of free research hours + $60 per each additional hour
Stage II:           $650
Stage III:          $400

~ Country Investment Climate Profiles
This service can save you time and money by providing tailored country-specific reports with the information you need to evaluate potential foreign investment locations, and directions for how to establish operations.

Fee: Remainder of free research hours + $60 per each additional hour

 
~ Customized Consulting Projects
Customized research reports are available for a variety of large-scale international business projects, such as detailed foreign industry analyses and competitive intelligence reports.  Reports are tailored to suit individual project requirements and goals.

The KWTC is affiliated with the World Trade Centers Association (www.wtca.org) in New York, which encompasses a global network of nearly 300 World Trade Centers in close to 100 countries.  KWTC members have access to meeting space, interpreters, research support & hotel discounts through World Trade Center offices around the world.  Fees sometimes apply.
