Anne Schmidt is a licensed broker. She has 20 years of experience in importing and customs brokerage, starting in international trade in 1989 and spending 11 years in the services of a large customs brokerage.  Her responsibilities included the development and implementation of compliance-related audits and processes, Harmonized Tariff Schedule classification services, special trade programs and training.

 

In 2000, she joined Expeditors International's consulting practice, Tradewin, LLC.  There she specializes in import compliance assessments, NAFTA eligibility review, HTS classification, binding ruling requests and special trade program reviews.  Since 2006, Anne has been the Compliance Manager for Expeditors' Louisville office.
