Setting Up a Corporate Export and Import Compliance Program
Thursday, May 15
Export & import compliance violations carry both criminal and administrative penalties, including fines, incarceration, and denial of exporting privileges. Implementing an effective export-import compliance program enables your company to monitor compliance with U.S. regulations, and minimize any potential risk of violation. It defines and documents your company’s compliance efforts and establishes operational policies, procedures, and safeguards throughout your operations.

Ken Crissinger & Chris Bonham with UPS Customs and Trade Compliance

KWTC's 2nd Annual Global Golf Scramble; A Networking Success!
The Kentucky World Trade Center organized their 2nd Annual Global Golf Scramble last Thursday at Lake Forest Country Club in Louisville. The weather was absolutely perfect for a day out on the course and all 48 players really enjoyed the event. Teams competed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes and all players competed for the Hole-in-One contest of $10,000 cash prize. Businessmen and women from various companies were able to network and meet new individuals during the scramble as well. We were fortunate to have a couple of the one-armed golfers from the Fightmaster Cup to participate in the scramble. They had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone and learning more about the KWTC!
