Robert
Brown Appointed KWTC President

The
KWTC is pleased to announce that Robert L. Brown
will serve as President of the Kentucky World Trade
Center, in addition to his role as Vice-Chairman.
Mr. Brown is an accomplished international attorney
with Greenebaum Doll & McDonald office, current
chair of the American Bar Association's Asia/Pacific
Committee and has written many books on international
business.

Nguyen Tam Chien, Ambassador of Vietnam to the U.S.
The Kentucky
World Trade Center (KWTC) co-sponsored a Global Economic Forum,
organized by the World Affairs Council, with featured speaker
Ambassador Nguyen Tam Chien. Ambassador Chien discussed US/Vietnam
commercial relations, along with other aspects of US/Vietnam
relations at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville.

Mission Leads to Joint Venture in Leeds, England

In 2005,
the Kentucky World Trade Center (KWTC) co-organized a trade
mission to Louisville's new sister city in Leeds, England
that resulted in an exciting new joint venture project. Louisville-based
Goldmark Consultants Inc., a consulting firm that specializes
in Six Sigma business training, recently reached an agreement
with Leeds-based MCS Management Consultancy, founded by John
Porter. The joint venture marks the establishment of Goldmark
UK. Mark Goldstein, president and founder of Goldmark Consultants
Inc., credited the KWTC with paving the way for the new partnership.
