The KWTC is pleased to announce that Ed Webb will serve
as President/CEO of the Kentucky World Trade Center
Louisville businessman J. Edwin(Ed) Webb is president and chief executive officer of the Kentucky World Trade Center. In this capacity, Webb is responsible for executing the KWTC’s strategic vision, along with overseeing and managing the organization’s daily operations.
Ed’s business and international experiences include his prior role as the founding executive director of the Frazier International History Museum. While there, he negotiated with the British Royal Armouries in England to create the long-term agreement that has provided much of the historic arms collection on display -- the first of its kind outside the United Kingdom. Ed’s prior business experience includes leadership and consulting roles in banking firms and technology start-up companies.
Ed is a Louisville native and earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Bellarmine University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville. He is also a regular guest instructor and a former adjunct staff member of Bellarmine University.
Ed and his wife Jill are the proud parents of three children and live in the Crescent Hill neighborhood of Louisville, KY.
