Some 41 international dignitaries representing 22 nations joined government and business leaders from throughout the Commonwealth to celebrate the 14th Annual World Trade Day event on June 7th at the Lexington Convention Center in downtown Lexington.

A special highlight of the event was the outstanding keynote address given by T.R. Reid. At The Washington Post, he has covered Congress, national politics, and four presidential campaigns. As the paper's bureau chief in Tokyo and in London, he has spent most of the past decade overseas. In his address, Mr. Reid covered pertinent world issues from his national best seller The United States of Europe, and gave us a better understanding of the relationship between the United States and Europe.
